DIY Shibori: Dyeing With Indigo | Free People Blog

I’ve studied Japanese for 5 years and I think it’s safe to say that I am deeply invested in the Japanese language and culture and I adore everything about it. Shibori is no exception and I was really excited to see it on the Free People Blog! Basically it’s a type of dyeing that focuses on tying and folding the fabric in different ways to produce different dye patterns. Extreme tie-dye if you will.
